Six Layer Cake is a different group, made up of members of Antietam and Sleepyhead and a couple of other people, playing funk and soul songs. When their drummer and one of their guitarists got married, Georgia and Ira were drafted into SLC on a one-time basis. It's almost impossible that Yo La Tengo would be available to play your wedding. It would require more money than we're worth to set aside a date far in advance for a private function. (The weddings we have played have all been for friends or family.)
